Our story
Welcome to TKS America Trust, Keep, Shepherd Psalm 82:4
Brittany Griffin, M.A. Founder & Director, TKS America M.A. CRIMINAL JUSTICE / B.A Psychology OUR STORY : Long before TKS America was founded, its mission was already being written.
At 12 years old, I became a runaway. Like many vulnerable youth, I was searching for safety, stability, and connection. Instead, I found myself exposed to risks no child should face. By age 15, I became pregnant by a man significantly older than me, an experience that showed me how easily vulnerable youth can become targets when they lack support and guidance.
As I grew older, I became determined to turn my experiences into purpose. Through education, military service, and a career dedicated to helping others, I developed a passion for advocating for vulnerable youth and families facing difficult circumstances.
Today, that passion drives the mission of TKS America: to prevent youth exploitation, support families in crisis, and help young people build safer, healthier futures.

Leadership
The Griffins
In January 2025, Brittany and her husband, Najee Griffin, joined community members in the search for a missing child. What started as neighbors helping neighbors quickly grew into something much larger. Together with volunteers, they organized search teams, distributed flyers, raised awareness, and supported families facing every parent’s worst nightmare.Through these efforts, they discovered a troubling pattern: many missing youth had previously run away, struggled with instability, or lacked positive support systems. They realized that finding children was only part of the solution. Prevention, education, and mentorship were equally important. That realization led to the creation of TKS America.Today, TKS America works to prevent youth exploitation through education, assist families of missing and runaway children, and mentor young people toward safe, healthy futures.Prevent. Assist. Mentor.
